Dr. Lance Rettig, M.D.


Dr. Rettig obtained his medical degree in 1997 from the Indiana University School of Medicine. After completing his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Indiana University, he completed a fellowship in upper extremity surgery at the Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore, MD.

Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Lance Rettig specializes in disorders of the elbow, wrist and hand. His special areas of interest are the care and rehabilitation of traumatic injuries of the hand and wrist and athletic elbow disorders.

Dr. Rettig is a volunteer Clinical Assistant Professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has lectured at the local, regional and national level on the topics of athletic elbow injuries; degenerative and traumatic disorders of the hand, wrist and elbow; and occupational upper extremity injuries.
