The Back to Work Center was developed in 1990 as an enhanced service to Indiana employers accustomed to the occupational medicine expertise provided by the walk-in clinics of IU Health Occupational Services, formerly known as Methodist Occupational Health Centers, Inc.

Today, just as IU Health Occupational Services continues to be a strong provider of primary occupational medicine at its 8 walk-in clinics, the Back to Work Center has grown into the Central Indiana destination for comprehensive specialty care for occupational injuries.

Since 1967, IU Health Occupational Services has been the leading occupational healthcare provider within the state of Indiana, and continues to expand services to provide expertise to employers and their insurance carriers/TPA’s.

Comprehensive services include: injury prevention, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, substance abuse testing, physicals, lab tests, training, and safety consultation.
